- Diabetes: TAH will examine the causes of the high incidence of diabetes in the region. The types and genetic basis of diabetes and the new trends in treating the disease. Diabetes is one of the main focuses of health authorities in the region. TAH will examine also preventive measures, treatment guidelines and long term complications.
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industries: The region is attracting many of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies to set up manufacturing facilities in the region. TAH will focus on generic drugs, research and the certification and approval process.
